Hyperactive online classes that set minds on fire

Help your kid love learning (again)

We’re born curious — but we can lose it.

Our classes grab kids by the brain and guide them through high-level concepts with stories and metaphors and hilarity.

Give them something that holds their attention

Watch your kid learn hard stuff

Kids are brilliant — they can learn profound concepts. But too often, they’re given dull tasks and fed simplistic knowledge.

We don’t dumb things down. We challenge curious brains with real questions, and help them build real understanding.

See how we do it.

Help them fit the whole world in their head

Behold, our Big Course

Everything connects to everything — but most science classes are disconnected. Ours builds: what kids learn in one topic, they use in the others.

We’re building something that we think has never before existed: a six-year-long epic science curriculum. Our first topic? “The Universe”.

Watch as your kid builds an understanding of everything… from the atoms on up!

I just sat there watching in awe.
Science is WEIRD nails how to teach science.

Let them show off how clever they are

Where does this come from?

I’m Brandon, and I help kids fall in love with the world.

As a father and a teacher, I know what it’s like to watch brilliant kids spin their wheels in school.

I created Science is WEIRD to help curious kids geek out about the wonders of reality.

I’ve taught students from elementary school through college, have a master’s in educational leadership, & tell really, really bad jokes.
